We have been on a long trip from KY to CA. Whe had a hard time getting here. We ran into freezing rain in Nebraska and then fought the snow and ice for the next 800 miles. When we finally arrived in California we had our freight unloaded and went straight to the Motel 6 in Fairfield, about three miles from our delivery. What a relief to finally be where the weather is warm - although they think it is cold here!

Good grief! 800 miles is a VERY long way to deal with nasty weather! Yuck. Glad you made it safely. Hopefully you'll come home the southern route. :)

Uggghhh! I would have hated that run. That kind of driving just drains a person! At least it does me. Maybe I'm still dealing with my accident 6 years ago when I hit head on with the tree. The roads were bad that day too.
Oh yeah...cold there? We're going 20 below this weekend and thats without the wind chill factor. If they want to experience cold they need to come to my neck of the woods. Actually, I'd rather go to their neck of the woods.
