Correction

In the previous post, the top picture is of our truck backed up against one of the garage bays on the lower level of the garage. The second picture is of the house etc. . . I hope to get better at this posting layout soon.

Where We Live

This is our house. The music studio is on this end
and the appartment on the far side .

The second picture down is our garage.
It is two story. The garage bays are on
the lower level and the level you see here
is the upper level. We are going to make
a one bedroom appartment in the upper
level.

The bottom picture is another view of the
studio/appartment.

Here is Grandpa's girl, Natalie Ann, Doreen and Steven's youngest. She is getting so big.
She is four years old and as you might imagine, has me wrapped wround her finger.
I am learning how to place pictures and will have a few more later.

Pictures!

Well, here is our first picture. This is before our house was built. This view is on Standifer Gap Road and the culverts are the ones being installed so we can drive onto the property.

Back Home

Thanks to those of you who looked us up here on our site. Sandra and I headed to Alabama this week. From there we went to Orlando for a couple hours then headed back to Alabama and then back here to Tennessee. Just got home this morning for the weekend.

Maybe this weekend we'll learn how to post some pictures. Then we can show you the house, studio and Garage. Since the county is putting in a sewer past our house the room above the garage will eventually become a one bedroom apartment.

More later. . . . .

Back to work

Sandra and I have been home for a long weekend. It is beautiful here in Tennessee. Since we live in the Tennessee valley the weather is very nice (most of the time). We sold 2.5 acres of land just across the creek from our house and garage, so we had to come home for closing.

Last week we went Mignot, North Dakota and the back by way of Des Moines, Chicago (Carol Stream, IL) and then Simpsonville South Carolina. Tonight we are heading over to Alabama and then over to GA tomorrow.

While we were in Des Moines, we were able to stop in the Merle Hay Mall and visit with Sandra's sister Nancy for an hour or so. Sandra also talked to Nancy's son Danny on the phone. She says he sounds a lot like Ryan - a low confident voice.

Yesterday Doreen and I sang special music for both services in Ooltewah where Doreen and Steve are members. It's nice to visit their church, sometimes we go into the grand kids rooms and sit on little chairs and watch them sing and recite their memory verses.

More later. . . . . .

Introductions

Hello Friends and Family. This is our first attempt to communicate by using a blog. We are Larry and Sandra and we hope to be able to keep in touch with our many acquaintances. Now that we have internet and e-mail access in our truck we should be able to keep up to date much better. We'll be posting more news and pictures as we go along.

Below is a link to our daughter (Doreen) and son-in-law's (Steve) blog. There are pictures of our granddaughters and news that you may find interesting.

Looking forward to being in touch again.
