Sandra and I have been home for a long weekend. It is beautiful here in Tennessee. Since we live in the Tennessee valley the weather is very nice (most of the time). We sold 2.5 acres of land just across the creek from our house and garage, so we had to come home for closing.
Last week we went Mignot, North Dakota and the back by way of Des Moines, Chicago (Carol Stream, IL) and then Simpsonville South Carolina. Tonight we are heading over to Alabama and then over to GA tomorrow.
While we were in Des Moines, we were able to stop in the Merle Hay Mall and visit with Sandra's sister Nancy for an hour or so. Sandra also talked to Nancy's son Danny on the phone. She says he sounds a lot like Ryan - a low confident voice.
Yesterday Doreen and I sang special music for both services in Ooltewah where Doreen and Steve are members. It's nice to visit their church, sometimes we go into the grand kids rooms and sit on little chairs and watch them sing and recite their memory verses.
More later. . . . . .

This is new territory for us but glad to be able to tag up with you! We're in MI till just after the final concert so hope to be on our way home by May 15th. We'll be going to Scot and Patti's for May 4, Scot's graduation--he defends his discertation this Thursday and will know beyond all doubt about graduation after that--we figure we should be able to hear him shout all the way over here in MI! I think everyone pretty much knows they're moving to TN this summer, right? Well, anyway, we're excited to have more of an excuse to visit that part of the country--I guess the hard part will be catching you guys at home, eh? My side of the family is doing a reunion thing @ Unicoi State Park the week of July 4th so we'll be in the area during that time and would love to be able to see you--any chance? Bob is looking forward to giving his 3rd!! final concert--and things are looking good as they have finally hired a fellow to teach band here at GLAA for next year. Bob bought enough farm equipment here in MI to do some haying when we get home. We lugged most of it home at spring break but we still have to haul the baler home when we leave in May. Oh, when we were home, something had pulled out some of the bales from under the house and left a big hole to get in and out of--big enough for a bear! Gotta run--hope this goes through all right! bc
